This is a blog for prospective and current law students. It is written by Mark Elliott, Reader in Public Law at the University of Cambridge, and Fellow and Director of Studies in Law at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge.
The blog primarily reflects Mark’s own areas of interest and expertise: there is therefore a focus on areas such as public law (constitutional and administrative law), human rights, and the relationship between (on the one hand) law and (on the other hand) politics and the way we are governed. The blog also features guest posts by other academics and by current and former law students. Posts are written with both current students (especially those studying public law-related subjects) and people who might be thinking of applying to study law at university in mind.
